Starting to think about what roses to add to the Yard

Great Place to buy Roses My mind is on roses this morning.I found the most wonderful place for roses. Northland Rosarium, located in Spokane, WA. They grow the roses on their own root. The year before I lost 17 roses,. Silly me. It's that California Gal thing. Now I know better.One of my customers at Wiggett's told me about Northland Rosarium. www.northlandrosarium.com. If you love roses and live in Idaho or Washington, this is a must see. They are so helpful! My first purchase for 2010 - Golden West Coffee

O K. I have had my cup of "cowgirl" coffee this morning ( ha, ha) and I'm heading down to Wiggett's Antique Marketplace to start another day of packing up all the Christmas decorations, wreaths, houses and everything else that is Christmas. Except for special antique Santa's, little houses from the 40's and 50's and some mercury glass ornaments and a flock of German Stick Leg Sheep, that I keep in one of my display cases on the mezzanine.
I love my first purchase. Think I will save it for the Farm Chicks Show. That way, I get to enjoy it for a while.

I look forward to this year. I know with all my heart who is in control and I'm trusting in Him. We started the year off by going to church last night. We attend Real Life in Post Falls, ID. It is a wonderful church. I'm thankful I know, that no matter what is going on around me or in the world, that He is still in control. God Bless you all and happy New Year. Jewell

Idaho Country Kitty

This is our kitty girl. Her name was Princess when we adopted her. We call her just about everything else. Mostly Baby-girl. We rescued her about 3.5 years ago from the shelter. We like to spoil her. Just hope being on the internet doesn't give her a big head. If I could, I would have about 4 more. I love them all.

I love wishing you a Merry Christmas because it is my way of recognizing that Christ is the reason for this season. Such a wondrous miracle. In addition we get a chance to get together with friends and family, make homemade goodies and even pull out some of our vintage decorations too.

First day of snow

Just about once or twice I love to stay home, watch the snow from my windows and do things that I have been putting off. Like updating my blog and website. My sweet husband is out using his snow blower. Bless his heart. I love that man so much.

Christmas time at Wiggett's Antique Marketplace

I love this time of year. I have been decorating all four spaces at the shop. I have to say, I'm like a kid in the candy store. Pulling out Christmas ornaments and decorations that I had forgot about. I love to keep changing things, as I find other goodies to bring in.I wish you all a Blessed Christmas.

Custer's Fall Antique Show

These folks from Jim Custer's Enterprises have been doing shows for the past 35 years. They really have it down and are terrific to work with. The show has a good blend of country, cottage, folk art, garden, glassware and toys.
